Game design is an oft-misunderstood craft. Lessons about rapid prototyping and fast iteration, while important, often overshadow the more fundamental aspects of the actual process of design. In this course, you'll learn what it means to think about games like a game designer rather than a player, how that shift in mindset can happen, and how to apply it to your own work.During this course, you are highly encouraged to take notes, and to revisit the lectures multiple times as you work on your on basic vision documents. By applying all of the lessons in this course, you will be much more successful in putting together design concepts; it's quite a lot of information, and won't be easy to apply immediately! Take these lessons with you and be ready to practice and be patient, just like you would if you were learning an instrument or any other artistic endeavor!
