Teachlr FAQ

What is Teachlr?

1) What is Teachlr.com

It's a virtual knowledge market where you can solve your needs and feed your curiosity by getting real answers from real people. It's fun and didactic, allowing you to ask questions on any topic and take classes on any matter. You can also help others by answering "Needs" or becoming an instructor. It's all about sharing what you know-- so don't keep those skills to yourself... share them with the world and make a profit out of it ;)

2) What's a "Need"?

We designed a "Need Answering System" in order to fill the gap between learner's necessities and teacher's offerings. Learners will use the "Need Answering System" to make a request about what are they interested to learn; teachers enrolled with skills in that topic will received the request. Afterwards, the teachers can send a proposal including pricing, length and method for the teaching/learning process. Therefore, the learner would have different options to evaluate and make a decision about his/her learning experience. For example: If you "need" to repair your guitar, you can type in: "fix my guitar" and we will actively help you find a teacher who can instruct you on how to do this
