I was born in Bucharest, Romania, where I began studying music at the age of 5 years. I attended Music Kindergarden, Music Elementary School and Music High School. After that I entered the Music Conservatory in Bucharest in the Music Composition class. In 1987 I was admitted to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles and after 2 1/2 years graduated with a Bachelor?s Degree in Music Composition. I have been teaching music for over 25 years besides composing and performing.
